I got lucky on this day and was able to bring Phobos Anomaly, into the studio with me on this day. They're were my buddies and one of the best underground bands around my area at the time. We had never played this song before, we had never even practiced together before, and the song wasn't finished lyrically yet. Even though we got it in one take. I had to finish the rest of the vocal work at home because I suffer from empty pocket syndrome, which is a very serious and shitty condition where you are broke all the time, and you can't finish your studio album.
Most of the lyrics I are based off a poem I wrote for my ex-girlfriend so she could cheat on a homework assignment for an english class. We soon broke up afterwords (again,again) and I never saw the poem again. Fortunately I was able to remember it almost word for word several months later when I began writing this song.
