This was my favorite song I was playing at the time for almost a year after writing it. Since then other song's have taken my fancy, but almost five years after writing it, it has become a popular favorite among my friends and fans. Originally it was titled "Eagles Landing" but was renamed during my time spent in the project "Full Roaming Vapor" by Adam Bugaj of Peacefeather. Who was playing keys for the band at the time. He referred to it by the leading line in the second verse, which is still one of the closest things to perfect I have ever come up with as a lyricist. It stuck with me, so I changed the name to what it is now. It makes more sense as a title, where as Eagles Landing, never being sang in the song's lyrics would seem meaningless to everyone but me. Who wrote this song as almost a scene in a movie, about an event that takes place in an fictional location. But, none of that is important to you as the listener. I write my song's vaguely so that they can exist in each reality. Preferring that the listener takes personal rights to extract their own meaning from the song. Blah blah blah, why did I bother writing this. Who fucking cares anyway. Late
